Direct Health care client of ours is looking for an Engineering Assistant for their Madison, WI, location. This is 6-9 months contract assignment.

-Entry level engineering position highly focused on documentation.
-Some experience creating process sheets and working with production operators to understand what they do.
-This could be a recent grad with some CO-OP/Intern experience but they must have experience with process documentation
-Candidates with experience writing/drafting work instructions and experience working with production operators.
-Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
-Create operator instructions and navigate changes through engineering change control process. ? Incoming inspection card creation.
-Work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design
-Participate in new product introductions through process layout, tool development, and new equipment
-Coordination of manufacturing releases
-Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals
-Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations.
-Assure that corrective action is taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas
