Major client is looking for a Process Engineer for their Milwaukee, WI location. This is a 12 months contract assignment.

This position will develop and implement processes in Lab and Factory, help to install equipment/machinery. Manufacturing related position working with equipment (process related) look for a MFG, IE or related engineer.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Working with cross-functional teams to complete subsystem and system verification and validation

- Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, serviceability, cost and manufacturability

- Analyzing and validating material/component selection, tolerances, performance, cost, manufacturability

- Evaluating and prioritizing pertinent business tasks with limited information

Qualifications/Requirements:

-Bachelor?s Degree in Materials Science or related focused engineering degree
-1-3 years relevant work experience
-Experience (work or educational background) in materials characterization and/or materials phenomena and/or materials processing
-Experience (work or educational background) materials processing and joining techniques
-Basic understanding of strength of materials and/or design for strength

Desired Characteristics:
1. Master?s Degree and/or PhD in Materials Engineering field and/or 2 years of job experience.
2. Materials process development experience
3. Materials processing equipment design experience
4. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
5. Ability to visualize and communicate conceptual models
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities using analytical and logical thinking skills
7. Experience in gathering and defining customer requirements
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently toward timely completion of a desired goal
9. Demonstrated history of innovation such as design patents, patent disclosures or equivalent - Experience with Design for Reliability and Design for Manufacturability best practices - Six Sigma trained and certified
