Direct client is looking for a Technical Writer for their Marlborough, MA location. This is a 6+ months contract assignment.

Description:

Role Summary/Purpose
The Technical Writer creates installation, application / operation and service documentation for service engineers for Client Life Sciences products and applications.

Essential Responsibilities
? Using MadCap Flare, develop and manage all documentations requirements
? Review, edit and test documentation deliverables
? Adhere to Client?s technical publications standards
? Track and fix documentation defects
? Collaborate with cross-functional team consisting of sales, marketing, service, quality, regulatory and engineering to assist in the development and implementation of the service documentation strategy
? Create document product plans
? Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type / position
? Ensure compliance / closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving documentation deliverables
? Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, Journalism OR a degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Writer
? Minimum of 5 years of experience writing and editing product documentation
? Single-sourcing experience with task-based content
? MadCap Flare

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:
Ability and willingness to submit work samples of technical writing that meet set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
