Major Financial client is looking for a UX Developer for their Stamford, CT location
Role Summary
This role will be part of Clients Web Design & Usability team and positioned to bring critical UX information architecture and design to the redesign effort for one of our business?s customer facing web applications. This role will partner with our UX team and other business and IT teams to deliver customer facing website design deliverables from wireframes to comps to building graphic objects such as buttons and managing the overall style guide for the initiative. This redesign is employing current web features and requires resources that are fluent in progressive enhancement, accessibility and data visualization solutions. Successful candidate will be able to interpret business requirements and iterate thru wireframes and develop comps and work with developers to ensure successful implementation.

Essential Responsibilities
? Partner with IT/Business teams to refine wireframes based on requirements
? Develop comps and graphic elements, Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
? Develop and communicate ideas across business and IT teams
? Work with developers to ensure graphic elements are appropriate size/weight and quality.
? Define and Translate design deliverables such as site maps, wireframes and comps that adhere to Client Branding guidelines into functioning we pages that meet customer and stakeholder needs
? Collaborate with Project Managers, functional subject matter experts, and business IT Application Leaders to define and execute on application changes

Desired Characteristics:
? Minimum of 4 years of experience in website design & site development
? Knowledge of IT systems and technology
? Knowledgeable with web standards and multi-browser compatibility
? Excellent site design skills as demonstrated by having designed successful projects
? Attention to detail and relentlessly pursue excellence in producing quality deliverables
? Must be highly independent and motivated and be equipped to support multiple initiatives simultaneously while working closely with fellow team members
? Familiar with latest versions of HTML / CSS and web standards (W3C)
? Familiar with modern, interactive web applications
? Understanding and experience with version control
? Strong ability to work across functional teams, including designers, developers, marketers, and business teams
