To this end, Sutter Pacific Medical Foundationis seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant for a busy Family Practice in Santa Rosa in the After Hours clinic.
The incumbent for this position will work with the physician to provide medical care to patients, of various ages, according to the policy of the individual practice and in accordance with nursing professional standards and medical foundation policies and procedures. Clinical duties may include: taking medical histories, recording vital signs and current medications,explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician during the examination. Provide patients with information regarding medication use and special diets; communicate and document prescription refills as directed to the appropriate pharmacy.
