Located on 14.5 park-like acres, Kahi Mohala's 88-bed facility is Hawaii's only private, freestanding psychiatric hospital. Kahi Mohala provides comprehensive behavioral health services for adults, adolescents and children experiencing problems with psychiatric disorders,anxiety, depression, eating disorders. The buildings and grounds offer a complete residential environment with an emphasis on patient safety and security.

Provides daily cleaning and replenishing of supplies to patient units, bathrooms, offices, and other areas of the hospital as assigned in accordance with standard cleaning procedures. Maintains safe and sanitary environment. Operates commercial vacuums, carpet extractors, sweepers, trash/utility carts, 20" rotos, wall washing systems and high-speed burnishers. Utilizes equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, safety harnesses and other high reach equipment. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Moves furniture such as tables and chairs and does other duties as assigned by an environmental services supervisor including minor maintenance. Performs other duties as needed. Duties include light maintenance, working with ladders, lifts; moving furniture such as tables, chairs, and beds; and completes other duties as assigned by an Environmental Services Supervisor.
