This position provides magnetic resonance imaging patient care services at defined levels to patients.The incumbent a ssesses and educates patients according to specific department protocols, implements MRI protection and safety standards to avoid magnetic risk hazard to staff and patients, operates a variety of complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment, positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately, prepares and administers contrast media and or/medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations; prepares for and assists the physician in the MRI procedures.
