Under general supervision and according to policies and procedures, is responsible for maintaining directories, files, testing, and coordinating application update for Sunquest, EPIC, CoPath, and other PAMF and Sutter applications as required. Utilizes the electronic health record and the laboratory information system to review provider test orders and monitor application error logs as needed. Is responsible for the daily computer operations, equipment interfaces, implementation of software upgrades, liaison with Clinic Information Systems Department, and support the Laboratory Director and Manager in achieving the goals of the Clinical Laboratory. Works coherently wit LIS analysts across PAMF towards maintaining and supporting an integrated laboratory information system.
 
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Science; current State of California license in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science; excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED: previous LIS experience in the clinical laboratory area
