Supervises staff of the Infusion Center, which may include clinical nurses, medical assistants and other clinical support, as well PSR personnel, to provide for the health care needs of clinic patients and their families.  Maintain department budget and oversee department equipment and service contracts.  Responsible for personnel management issues such as staff competency, training and adherence to PAMF nursing standards.  Acts as a coach, mentor, and problem solver for staff and physicians in the department of responsibility.  Reviews, councils, and motivates staff. Works collaboratively with medical staff on patient care issues and department direction.  Directs projects aimed at improving department and PAMF goals.

Required: Graduate of an accredited R.N. program with current a California license. A minimum of five (5) years previous progressive experience in clinical nursing, including oncology nursing, preferably in an ambulatory setting.  A minimum of one year nursing supervision (clinical coordinator or supervisor) experience.  Demonstrates ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct the activities of clinical personnel and projects.  Ability to influence and manage change.  Effective oral and written communication skills. Communicates well with staff and higher level management. Works with Clinical R.N. Manager as a team.
