The Clinical Supervisor will have the responsiblity of the day to day clinical nursing operations of the department. In addition, he/she will participate in long-range planning, goal setting, and management of the clinical staff. The Supervisor will assist physicians in implementing the medical plan of care for patients and will also provide appropriate nursing care within the scope of the California Nurse Practice Act and/or the PAMF nursing guidelines. Functions as clinical lead for MPD and leads MPD Clinical Competency Program.

Required: Current RN state license; department specific certifications (e.g.: administer IV medications, insert/remove catheters, etc.); current CPR and ACLS certification; and continuing education credits annually.

Preferred: Two (2) years of supervisory experience in the assigned department and BSN degree.
