Prepares, seasons, and cooks food for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, and for employees, visitors and special events. Performs a variety of tasks. Follows standard practices and complies with regulatory requirements.

High School and equivalent. One year cooking experience in a hospital or Long Term Care facility. 2-4 years cooking experience preferred. Basic Food and nutrition courses. Knowledge to maintain Logs. Knowledge of various kitchen equipment. Frequent standing, walking, lift/carry to 25 pounds.
