PRIMARY PURPOSE:  

Primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 150 prospective and major donors including the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of such donors and prospects in the $25,000 to $1,000,000+ range.  The performance of this position is critical to the success of the $400 million fundraising campaign.

 

Experience
·         5+ years major gift ($25K+) fundraising experience from individuals.
·         Demonstrated familiarity with cultivating, soliciting and stewarding prospects and donors. 
·         Demonstrated knowledge and utilization of information systems to support fundraising activities. 
 
Knowledge
·         Strong interpersonal skills, self-confidence and assertiveness, diplomacy, teamwork, good judgment, and respect for confidentiality.
·         Ability to represent the Foundation to external audiences through the use of strong verbal and written communication skills. 
·         Willingness to travel outside the office, occasional evening and weekend work, and to adjust to other needs of the department.
