Under the general direction of the director of clinical development and training and , the LVN Trainer assists in the  assessment of the educational and training needs of the Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurse.  Assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical orientation. Assists in the implementation and evaluation of courses to ensure and maintain the continuing professional competence of medical assistants and licensed vocational nurses based on Scopes of Practice.    Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of courses and learning sessions for non-clinical members of the care team as requested and/or needed.  Utilizes principles of adult learning in all aspects of educational activities.

 

REQUIRED: current LVN license; five (5) years of recent experience as a LVN; working knowledge of Microsoft Word applications; excellent written and presentation skills; current AHA BLS/CPR certification

PREFERRED: strong computer and internet knowledge
