Take Flight Inc., is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that provides wrap-around programs to more than 50 families throughout the Maryland area. The cornerstone of our comprehensive program is our Flight to Employment program that helps students practice and perfect the skills necessary to obtain a competitive advantage. Workshops feature resume building, mock interviews, presentation skills, financial planning, financial budgeting, complete job applications, college applications, and mentoring.

We are seeking two highly motivated, detail-oriented students and recent graduates, who have a passion for helping children succeed, to intern during spring/ summer 2012. This position is a great fit for individuals who want to build their development and communication skills and gain a greater understanding of fundraising strategies and tactics in the nonprofit field.

Interns work a flexible schedule of 15 or more hours per week (as your schedule permits). Positions are unpaid, but interns receive a transportation stipend to defray commuting cost.
