Description
The Role
As a business analyst, you will work directly with members of Teach For America’s Marketing and Communications teams to maximize the value that they derive from data and technology.
In this role, you will be an important member of the Engagement Partnerships group of Teach For America’s IT Solutions sub-team, a group primarily focusing on Teach For America’s recently-implemented constituent relationship management system, TFACT (Teach For America’s Constituent Technology, driven by Salesforce.com).
 
Over the longer term, the you will be responsible for ensuring that the TFACT platform evolves along with both team’s strategy and priorities, including – but not limited to – our new Pardot marketing automation platform and broader vision for the Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud, enterprise survey technology, online events management, global opt in management, and our overall digital presence.
 
You will report to the Managing Director, Business Analysis.

Primary Responsibilities
 
  • Own the relationship between IT and the Marketing and Communications teams as their formal Technology Business Partner, becoming a subject matter expert in their teams’ processes and serving as the trusted point person on IT for all  stakeholders across their technology projects
  • Develop and manage enterprise-wide digital strategy in collaboration with partners on the Marketing Team.  This work will include, but is not limited to, the following:
    • Ensuring that the Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud (Radian6, BuddyMedia) is maximizing the impact of Teach For America’s social strategy and vision
    • Drive further development and enhancements to our new Pardot marketing automation platform to ensure we are maximizing it’s impact across the growing digital landscape of the organization
    • Providing critical organizational leadership around a data accuracy and completeness initiative for our Marketing Cloud platforms (including Pardot)
    • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to evaluate the effectiveness of our current events marketing and management vendor and web-based survey technology
    • Establish a vision and next steps for implementing a new global opt-in process
  • Partner with other BAs working with teams in the digital space (e.g., online application, TFANet.org, new digital initiatives) to ensure connectivity across all projects and robust ROI for our technology projects each fiscal year
  • Drive strategy to help the Marketing and Communications teams maximize the benefits of TFACT
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to facilitate, develop, and improve team processes supported by TFACT; establishing shared understandings about the benefits and costs of potential solutions for those processes.
Requirements
     
Prior Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience driving strategy, business process improvement, or change management in a marketing-focused context
  • Track record of success in building cross-functional relationships and managing to shared outcomes
  • Experience working with the Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud strongly preferred
  • Teach For America corps or staff experience preferred but not required
