Position Summary:



The Senior
Manager, Business Technology Services is responsible for a leading a medium-sized
team of technology professional focused on delivering and supporting
best-in-class human capital applications across all phases of the application
lifecycle.  The successful candidate will
thrive in a dynamic environment, embrace a collaborative approach to
discovering the best approach and maintain focus on the customer as primary in
the support and implementation of enabling technologies for the Human Capital organization.



Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:

  • Manage a
    team of high-performing application professionals responsible for the full
    lifecycle of application development, deployment and management.

  • Ensure
    stability and user satisfaction of TeleTech’s critical business applications,
    including Oracle Payroll, Oracle Human Capital, Oracle Benefits, Kronos, Taleo,
    Selection and Assessment, recruiting portals, and various HC related systems.

  • Ensure
    the successful execution of approved application enhancements in coordination
    with Delivery Services and Product Management resources.

  • Respond
    to, and manage the resolution of, critical application outages.

  • Responsible
    for the resource management of the team across the areas of support,
    maintenance and enhancements and large-scale projects.

  • Provide
    technical and professional mentorship for the Technology Services organization,
    predicated on empowerment and performance-based rewards.

  • Liaise
    with various groups outside of IT to facilitate cross-functional implementation
    of new or improved business process requirements for all critical business
    systems.

  • Actively
    contribute to ongoing process improvement by assisting in the development and
    communication of policies, procedures and user support tools; Populate
    knowledge base for future use within the Business Capabilities organization

  • Perform
    other duties and special projects as assigned.  






Job Specifications:



  • 8+ years
    related technical system experience is required; strong proficiency within the
    Oracle E-Business Suite required – preferably R.12,

  • Demonstrated
    success running teams of 5+ resources.

  • Experience
    with Oracle Projects, Oracle Payroll, Oracle HCM, Oracle Advanced Benefits, Kronos,
    Taleo, and other HC systems preferred.

  • Strong
    functional and technical knowledge of Oracle eBS Payroll module including
    experience with Payroll, Compensation, and Advanced Benefits Fast Formulas

  •  A high level of understanding of the
    interconnections between the Payroll module and other Oracle eBS modules,
    particularly Human Resources, Compensation, General Ledger, iProcurement, and
    iExpense.

  • Understanding
    of Oracle table structure and experience writing SQL against those databases
    using TOAD software.

  • Experience
    with SOA, Workday and Fusion Applications a plus.

  • Bachelor's
    degree required; advanced degree or other professional certification preferred.

  • Deep
    knowledge of a range of, employee lifecycle processes.

  • Excellent
    analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication
    skills, including a high level of attention to detail and active listening
    skills.

  • Must be
    able to problem-solve and troubleshoot, in addition to the ability to work
    independently in a dynamic team environment.

  • Demonstrated
    excellence in a variety of competencies including: project management,
    teamwork, analytical thinking and client/customer awareness.
