Description
Job Description Position summary: Answer to the company's needs of information, focusing on D-A-CH market, by using studies (documentaries, qualitative and quantitative) made or supervised by the BSA him/herself. The BSA is the single point of contact between local functions and HQRS and directly reporting to the Sales Marketing Director. Main responsibilities:
- Collect information and statistical data on the markets, the customers and the competitors (business intelligence) / Conduct pro-active local industry competitor research, present outcomes, strive for field implementation where appropriate
- Improve/ Suggest improvements to local processes where possible
- Filter, develop, translate, refine and communicate sales ideas from the sales managers
- Develop business support tools (reports, presentations, lists, summaries, overviews…) for sales growth retention, customer negotiations, sales/ marketing events
- Follow-up on requests and descend feedback/ solutions to local team
- Carrying out reporting qualitative studies in relation to the BMA (business market analysis) updates.
- Carrying out quantitative studies as:
- Cross analysis of market trend and data with the company and customer forecasts
- calculation and simulation of company's market share and its competitors
- participation to the strategic vision study and setting up key factors of variance
- Sales data preparation and communication
- Elaborate all or some parts of a requirement book in order to setup or order any studies (methodology, scheduling, costs)
- Follow- up on the product portfolio
- Contact to internal Product Management teams market implementation new product lines
- Set-up with the finance department the process planning and the following of the AOP customer contracts
- maintain the calculation model and AOP/ SBP reporting model
- Advertising, sales promotion
- in relation with the communication/marketing department and the company engineering divisions :
- Follow specific conferences
- Respond to the cutaway analysis coming from automotive newspapers in order to promote our brands
- Participate to the organization of motor shows
- Benchmark analysis in relation with engineering/product management departments
- Salesforce.com supervision and usage analysis: further professionalize team in- and output
Required Skills Required Experience Profile:
- Degree in economics
- First work experience is desirable
- Team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Good knowledge of MS Office and Lotus Notes; SAP knowledge is a plus
- Very good knowledge in MS Access
- Business acumen
- Flexible
