Responsible for execution of purchasing management processes for advanced engineering.  Delivers optimized sourcing for New-to-Tenneco product and engineering requirements.  Collaborates with the engineering operation and cross functional teams to identify new technology / new product development supplier requirements. 

 •Ability to analyze and process highly complex technology / product requirements.

•Excellent negotiation skills and proven success working under pressure driving projects to closure.

•Organized with ability to attain project results simultaneously.

•Advanced PC skills required.

•Ability to travel is required. (estimated at 20% - 25%)

•Must be a self-starter with excellent communication and team building skills.

•Bachelor's degree in GSCM, Engineering or technical discipline.  MBA is a plus.
