Sr Pricing Analyst (Grade 23) Job Listing at Tenneco in Monroe, MI

Develop OEM cost estimates and pricing for platform quotes and engineering changes to ensure value generation for Tenneco. Process includes generating, compiling and analyzing costs for raw materials, purchased parts, labor, overhead, scrap, equipment and tooling. After confirming data and calculating costs, this position also develops customer pricing which includes administrative charges and profit.

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Finance) with 5 years costing / pricing experience to include manufacturing process development and demonstrated success in above duties.
• In depth knowledge of Cost Accounting methods and procedures.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of Mainframe applications (SAP) a plus.
• Understanding of customer platform programs and negotiating strategies.
• Ability to derive cost estimates utilizing blueprints.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be able to effectively deliver presentations as well respond to questions from groups including managers, customers, and general public.
