Salary Grade: 12 Position Summary Overview:
The Configuration Systems Analyst I role is responsible for the activities related to majors system configuration, new health plan implementations an conversions within the Configuration Business Operations and Implementation Teams.

Knowledge:
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job are knowledge of current business practices and business applications. Familiarity with business applications used by the Health Plan's processing techniques and practices. Familiarity with standard Health Plan software environments. A working knowledge of the healthcare industry is also required.

Skills:
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job are process mapping, leadership, team building, written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills, ability to analyze the functionality of systems and their fit with specifications, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Formal Education and Experience:
The formal education and experience required for completely satisfactory performance in this job are as follows:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or other related field

Two years of experience in Health Plan Payor systems is preferred. Four years of related work experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree.
