Salary Grade: 12 Position Summary Overview:
Provide 24-hour accountability for the administrative and human resources activities for Language Services. Ensure the delivery of high quality language assistance services through a variety of mediums.

Responsibilities:
Ensure delivery of high quality, cost effective language assistance services. Identify, facilitate and coordinate needs for additional language assistance programming throughout the organization. Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive competency validation program for clinical and support staff ensuring quality language assistance is provided.

Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of: language assistance needs in health care; translation processes; programming development; adult training techniques; word processing and spreadsheet software; performance improvement concepts; financial concepts; data analysis; strategic planning. The ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities, use effective verbal and written communication skills, problem-solve, analyze information, promote exceptional customer service, utilize performance improvement techniques, work effectively with individuals and teams and maintain confidential information as well as operate a personal computer, including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree. 3 years of operations experience such as project coordination, leading or initiating projects, or compliance with regulatory standards. Oral and written fluency in a second language.
