The Comedy Bar is composed of a downtown comedy club showcasing the city's best stand up comedians, a network of hilarious podcasts, and a talent management company working with comedians locally and internationally. We are committed to providing the funniest comedians at the best venue for the lowest prices in Chicago. We aim to establish a new standard for nightlife entertainment.

The Comedy Bar's internship program is a 12-week program designed to introduce students to the business side of entertainment, as well as give them a taste of the creative and technical skills required to maintain a small business in entertainment. If interns finish the 12-week program and choose to continue with us, an extension may be requested, and they may continue their time with us through an apprenticeship, which may result in a paid position down the line.

Each intern will spend one night per weekend (Thursday-Saturday) at the comedy club, learning club operations. They will also rotate through the remaining creative and technical departments, as well as the street team during the twelve-week internship in the order listed below.
