Description
The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. (IAAS) is a NY-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that promotes multicultural Literature and literacy. We need a top-notch intern to recreate our books on QuickBooks Online (setting up accounts, inputting 2010 info) and then translate that information into New York State Council on the Arts' (NYSCA) Cultural Data Project (CDP), a web-based system designed to capture and standardize in-depth, historical financial information from nonprofit arts and cultural organizations; as well as the National Endowment of the Arts (NEA) database.

You should know that while our PO Box address is in New York City, we operate in a "computer cloud," meaning we communicate and conduct business using our laptops and cell phones, almost exclusively. For those individuals in New York City, we meet from time to time, and we conduct staff meetings via webcam and/or conference calls.
