The Interdependence Project (IDP) is a NYC not-for-profit organization providing secular Buddhist meditation, psychology, and philosophy. This internship is an opportunity to work in a supportive, creative environment, with a staff dedicated to bringing peaceful social engagement to all.
Were seeking a thoughtful, organized and innovative Development Intern to work with the Creative Capital Consultant. This internship will offer exceptional hands-on experience in an arts, activism and contemplative education organization, which includes assisting with IDPs many fund-raising initiatives and events, including new membership appeals. The ideal candidate is innovative and efficient, has some experience with fundraising or events management, and has a working familiarity and interest in contemplative practices within the wisdom traditions.
University credit (if applicable) and excellent, individual fund-raising training experience
Access to IDP events, including special programs, workshops, guest lectures, potential for creative input in new program development (i.e., artist residency retreats) at IDP
