Description:
Director Global Engineering Project Management needed. This position reports to the VP of Global Engineering-pharma. Incumbent will lead global Capital Project Management resources (internal and external) in the execution of Capital projects at manufacturing sites. Manager will ensure global resources deployed at the manufacturing sites effectively lead the capital projects in collaboration with project and automation teams. Provide leadership for the planning, development and implementation of programs and projects to improve equipment design in support of the manufacturing plants to facilitate the implementation of cost reductions, new product launches and ongoing process maintenance. Provide technical management and administrative control for teams executing Capital projects. Integrates cost reduction, new product and ongoing facility/equipment support into capital plans. Participates in global surveillance of manufacturing technologies and equipment to assure competitive manufacturing process. As the leader of the Capital Project Management resources, the incumbent is responsible for the timely completion of technically sound and functional manufacturing lines which meet the project performance objectives and are within the appropriated budgets. MUST HAVE MANAGED VERY LARGE PROJECTS
