Our client is currently seeking a Financial Analyst

ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS REQUIRED

Job Description
To support the Business Unit/Project Controllers in preparation and execution of relevant financial reports, variance analysis, and other required reporting. This position has the opportunity to lead to a full-time position for the appropriate individual.

Duties and Responsibilities
(these are the positions essential duties and is not an all-inclusive list)
• Supports the monthly financial forecasting activities of projects
• Supports the consolidating of monthly project financial reporting for Business Unit Controller
• Supports the preparation of monthly project performance and variance analysis (to forecasts)
• Support project teams with monthly project revenue reporting
• Project customer purchase order and related invoice tracking
• Project openings in SAP
• Project closings in SAP
• Support project work breakdown structure updating in SAP
• Supports ad hoc financial report preparations by Project Controllers

Behavioral Competencies, Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong work ethic and results driven
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (advanced knowledge of Excel a plus)
• SAP experience is a plus

Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience)
• Overall Experience — 1-2 years of financial analyst experience, preferably in project-based company
