Our client is a global leader in the industry and they are in need of a Manager, Product Stewardship. The Regulatory Affairs & Product Stewardship (RA&PS) organization is a new transversal structure created in the RD&T Function. The RA&PS Manager for the division reports directly to the Global RA&PS Manager. Individual will have global responsibility for matters of the portfolio to be used in a wide array of industries. This is a hands-on lead role working with R&D and Product Management throughout the product life cycle. This person will need strong background of TSCA working knowledge of R&D, polymer exemptions and other related programs. Knowledge of FDA FCNs, device master files, and ISO-10993 testing preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Propose regulatory submission strategies and achieve Product Stewardship Chemical Inventory Listing supporting business strategy
- Create and maintain Product Stewardship records relating to company products, intermediates and raw materials
- Responsible for the continuing integration of Product Stewardship in business and R&D
- Responsible for gaining and maintaining agency listings as directed by business management
- Ensure compliance with global regulations i.e. REACH, GHS, etc.
- Work in conjunction with company to develop product safety/stewardship standards, programs, policies and practices
- Respond to internal and external requests for product safety information on company products
- Interact extensively with internal and external customers both domestic and international
- Prepare and revise MSDS, labels and other hazard communication information using a global product safety management system
- Provide technical expertise OSHA, FDA, ISO 10993, and other global substance control regulations
- Keep abreast of and assess international chemical control laws and pending regulatory developments through reference sources
- TSCA Coordinator for the business, oversee TSCA compliance, lead investigations regarding TSCA 8c/8e allegations of health and safety issues related to the use of our products or raw materials
- Conduct assessments, ensure proper implementation of Responsible Care for Product Stewardship

Profile:

- BS Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry or other technical discipline
- 7+ years (preferred experience in Toxic Substance Control Act, Global Registrations)
- Polymer chemistry knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of SAP a plus
