Directs and coordinates activities of Manufacturing department in processing materials and manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through Subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing team in areas such as safety, planning, cost, efficiency, GMPas, quality, and customer service. Manage the manufacturing scheduling process to meet the customeras expectation, by optimizing the use of plant resources to complete assigned tasks. Manage product run requirements to assure compliance to customer specifications while optimizing the plant resources. Manage labor utilization to assure meeting or exceeding task expectations. Manage product schedule timelines to assure meeting customer demand and scheduling resources to the daily priorities. Review manufacturing and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operation delay. Manage product yield material usage and material loss data. Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality specifications, safety standards and sanitation practices. Monitor and coordinate maintenance schedule as well as controlling costs of manufacturing, quality, and sanitation. Monitor plant performance and develop/implement action plans to understand and address areas of concern. Maintain continuous communication with all departments to assure manufacturing priorities and shortfalls are addressed in a timely manner. Embrace change and participate in continuous improvement of Manufacturing and Control Systems and Processes Manager Responsibilities Ability to lead and develop teams to the highest potential level. Demonstrated ability to manage diverse work groups in a team environment. Develop lead people and create work teams to support quality, safety and productivity goals. Requirements Education and Experience Degreed Preferred not Required 5+ Years Manufacturing Experience a Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus a Experience with Advance Planning Systems ( SAP APO, Preactor, Planet Together) a Related management experience with knowledge of hiring, disciplinary and coaching skills and the ability to conduct performance reviews.
