Generic Job Description
Summary: Provide direction to the Manufacturing departments operations in areas of safety, service, performance, quality and leadership. Directs and coordinates activities of Manufacturing department in processing materials and manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through Subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing team in areas such as safety, planning, cost, efficiency, GMPas, quality, and customer service. Manage the manufacturing scheduling process to meet the customeras expectation, by optimizing the use of plant resources to complete assigned tasks. Manage product run requirements to assure compliance to customer specifications while optimizing the plant resources. Manage labor utilization to assure meeting or exceeding task expectations. Manage product schedule timelines to assure meeting customer demand and scheduling resources to the daily priorities. Review manufacturing and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operation delay. Manage product yield material usage and material loss data. Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality specifications, safety standards and sanitation practices. Monitor and coordinate maintenance schedule as well as controlling costs of manufacturing, quality, and sanitation. Monitor plant performance and develop/implement action plans to understand and address areas of concern. Maintain continuous communication with all departments to assure manufacturing priorities and shortfalls are addressed in a timely manner. Embrace change and participate in continuous improvement of Manufacturing and Control Systems and Processes

Requirements Education and Experience
Degreed Preferred not Required
5+ Years Manufacturing Experience
a Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus
a Experience with Advance Planning Systems ( SAP APO, Preactor, Planet Together)
a Related management experience with knowledge of hiring, disciplinary and coaching skills and the ability to conduct performance reviews.
