Judge Healthcare is seeking a MD or DO for a Medical Director opportunity with a Medicare Advantage Health Plan in an ideal AZ location. The selected Physician for this mostly administrative leadership role, will possess a strong background in UR Management, Prior Authorization, Clinical Practice Guidelines, Quality Management, Compliance Denials and Appeals. With no direct reports, the Medical Director will support healthcare delivery through triage and strong clinical judgment.

Must hold a current, unrestricted Arizona license.

Three to five years’ medical administrative experience

Working knowledge Medicare rules and regulations

Medical Doctorate or Doctor of Osteopathy Degree required with appropriate Board Certification or qualification and level of expertise typically gained through five years’ experience in clinical practice.
