Our client is currently seeking a .Net Developer
This job will have the following responsibilities:

* JOB SUMMARY:
Hands on .Net\SQL development position for applications, ECM, reporting, OLAP and systems integration in a financial services back-office environment. Opportunity to learn and develop SharePoint solutions.
* CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
a Maintaining/enhancing portfolio of .Net applications.
a Building out workflow, report distribution, document collaboration and document management solutions in SharePoint.
a Providing systems integration solutions for 3rd party systems as part of the firmas central data management initiative.
* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
a Maintenance and enhancement of current .Net 4.0 web applications (vb.net and c#).
a Development of collaborative and document management solutions in SharePoint.
a Development of web parts, custom forms and workflows in SharePoint.
a Report development.
a Development of applications/utilities for system integration.
a End user assistance, troubleshooting and system administration duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
a 3+ yearsa experience with .Net web development (VB.NET,C#,ASP.NET a 4.0)
a Experience with, JavaScript, HTML, CSS,AJAX,XML.
a Experience with SQL Server 2008 or later - stored procedures, SSIS, SSRS, database administration. SSAS is a plus.
a Knowledge of relational database design, object oriented design and Agile methodology.
a Experience with SharePoint 2010 is a plus.
a Experience with SAP Business Objects a plus.
a Solid development background as well as the flexibility to tackle whatever software/technology project that occurs.
a Experience with pivot table features of Excel 2007 and higher.
a Experience with IIS
a Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) - business analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
a Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and workflow experience is a plus.
a Strong written and oral communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with end users and write clear and concise specifications.
a Experience with participating in business analysis activities, end-user training/assistance, and system administration tasks.
a Excels in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and executing responsibilities with minimal errors.

a Bacheloras degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field.
a 3-5 years of experience in programming and relational database design.
a SharePoint 2010 development experience a plus.
a Experience in a mutual fund administration or financial services environment a plus.
