Judge Healthcare is currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians for the Prior Authorization Department with a great company in the Philadelphia area !!

The Pharmacy Prior Authorization Technicians will be responsible for the following:

* Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, assist in the prior authorization process.
* Review and approve physician inquiries for pre-authorization and medical necessity requests based on established pharmacy guidelines and contract criteria.
* Support fraud and abuse program system oversight by reviewing medication utilization records.
* Maintain a balance of productivity, quality, and timeliness of job accountabilities.
* Maintain and update internal database by entering application information, prior authorizations, and other relevant data.
* Create and support an environment which fosters teamwork, cooperation, and diversity.
* Adheres to AMFC policies and procedures.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
The requirements include:

* PTCB or NCCT certified.
* 2 years of pervious experience in a insurance, PBM, or hospital setting.
* Good computer skills, 35 wpm typing speed.
* Knowledge of pharmacy practices, drug dosage forms, drug strength, and other pharmaceutical information.
* Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
