The Process engineer will support multiple capital projects simultaneously as well as assist manufacturing facilities to improve the current performance of the manufacturing processes in terms of safety, quality, production volume and cost reduction. The work will involve the upgrade and expansion of existing facilities as needed, integration of any acquired facilities, development of new polymer processes, or new capacity expansions at new locations throughout the world.
The Process Engineering team is responsible for preparing project scope packages and formal design packages for the process portion of capital projects, conduct process engineering analysis and studies, prepare reports, and provide economically supported process recommendations. The engineer will also be involved in the process commissioning and start-up support activities during capital project execution. This position requires 20% domestic and international travel to support existing and future manufacturing sites.

Profile:

BS or MS in Chemical Engineering is required
5+ years of Process Design Engineering experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry; polymer experience a plus
Must have experience designing process systems, developing process flow diagrams, developing piping and instrumentation diagrams, writing equipment and control specifications, performing system optimization activities, and performing material and energy balances.
Be familiar with Process Safety Management system requirements and have some experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent computer skills including MS Office; familiarity with process simulation software a plus.
International experience and language fluency a plus
