Description:
The Supply Chain Lead provides supply chain expertise and leadership within a strategic business unit to help achieve the Strategic Business Unit's objectives. An SCL creates and maintains strong linkages to the product supply organization and cross-functional partners to ensure understanding of and engagement in supporting the category strategy.

Responsibilities and Supporting Activities
Human Resource Management
Active engagement in PMP / IDP process for self/career development
Trains new Product Supply Chain Leads, as needed
Demonstrates HPT relationships within Supply Chain Solutions organization to ensure strong functional continuity across projects/efforts
Provides functional expertise and broad business input within brand/category business teams
Acts of the primary voice of all PSO functions within the project team. Facilitates communication and coordination of PSO functional activities outside of team meetings
Develops and recommends an overall supply chain execution strategy that delivers against short and long term objectives of approved project initiatives, aka volume, Total Delivered Cost, supply risk, SPACE, etc
Is accountable for the successful commercialization of projects through start of ship and technical transfer
Provides leadership to ensure alignment between SBU and PSO functional objectives
Facilitates functional project reviews and communication plans to impacted supply chain sites and the greater product supply organization

Manages product supply implementation of small product change concepts
Provides product supply linkage and leadership on product change and/or merchandising program teams to ensure appropriate speed to market
Supports the product supply feasibility process
Ensures flawless supply execution, start of production/start of ship for new projects / promotions
Acts as commercialization project manager for small projects, as assigned
Identifies / recommends cost savings opportunities for assigned products/SBUs
Leads cost effective changes to product or supply chain to achieve small cost savings initiatives from approval to commercialization

Collaboration
Collaborates with business team members to expand own capability from functional PSO expert into business partner within the team.
Builds collaboration across PSO functions to deliver break through results.
Works with Product Supply Integration resources to synchronize project status and priorities across constrained resources
Designs and executes best practice business processes to ensure effective and efficient use of Supply Chain Solutions resources
Acts as a role model to ensure effective team dynamics in order to deliver business priorities and determine /engage required resources

Minimum Requirements
B.S. degree in Business or related technical degree
Min 3 years product supply experience
Experience with production/inventory control systems
Experience with desktop and ERP applications
Re-locatable beyond Bay Area
