JOB SUMMARY
The Project Specialist position manages strategic projects and programs for the Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation and Education (MITIE?). Activities may be minimally anticipated and directly linked to the evolution of the department's operational focus. Duties may require considerable experience, skill and knowledge of the organization's policies and practices. This is critical when functioning as a liaison with the medical device industry, managing educational activities for clinicians and supporting continuing medical education activities. Works closely with Operations Manager, to ensure that center operates normally and maintains compliance across all activities.

All employees must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evening shifts.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or Health Sciences field preferred. Equivalent experience in a related position may be substituted in lieu of the educational requirements.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
0-2 years' experience in a healthcare surgical, medical research, or academic setting.
