Description:
This position assists the surgical team by acting as the primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures. Maintains constant vigilance for the maintenance of the sterile field.

This position requires two years of Surgical Technician experience or equivalency; successful completion of an accredited OR Technician program or equivalency (the accredited program requires one year of school); be certified by the Surgical Technologist Association; possess a current Basic Life Support Certification, Level C, or obtain recertification within one month of employment; and have demonstrated human relations skills.
