The newly established Center for Inflammation and Epigenetics (Center) at The Methodist Hospital Research Institute (TMHRI) will build up high quality research programs in the areas of cancer immunology, inflammation and epigenetics and bridge interdisciplinary research programs with other departments/programs within TMHRI, such as the Methodist Cancer Center, Nanomedicine, Obesity/Diabetes and Neuroscience.

The Center is currently hiring faculty at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels to support our rapidly growing programs. The successful candidate should have a strong record of scientific accomplishments and the potential to establish an independent research program in any aspect of cancer immunology, inflammation and epigenetics. A strong desire to perform high quality of research and a willingness to collaborate across departmental or center boundaries is essential. These positions will provide generous packages to establish an independent research program, including laboratory space, equipment and access to contemporary facilities or cores.
