Our internship is 5-15 hours a week for 6 months to learn the ins & out of what we teach. It is mostly unpaid, yet provides the opportunity to work one on one with clients who are interested in losing weight or to learn skills in various areas including: Kettlebells, Yoga, Pilates, Boxing, Swordfighting, and Ballroom Dancing.

You will not only learn these skills, but also how to teach them to beginners and even to professionals. If you excel, you can handle our races where you will be paid on a commission for the work that you do. This is different in each location and dependent upon previous experience in fitness with each intern. The internship is designed for athletes, trainers, and those interested in becoming a fitness professional. It is NOT for those interested in losing weight or who have fitness goals they need to achieve. If you are looking for weight loss, please join MOVBootcamp.

At the end of the internship, you have the opportunity to complete our personal trainer certification free of charge. It is normally $500 for this certification, but we waive the fee for anyone who completes the internship.

A typical week in our internship offers training like this:

Monday:

6am Bootcamp
7am Boxing with Client
2pm CPR Training
3pm Boxing Training
4pm Shadow Session
5pm Dance Session
6pm Teach Bootcamp

Tuesday:

2pm Write Article
3pm Dance Session
4pm Sword Fighting
6pm Attend Kettlebell Bootcamp
8pm Dance Session

Wednesday:

6am Teach Running Bootcamp
6pm Teach Running Bootcamp
8pm Dance Session

Thursday:

2pm CPR Training
3pm Self Defense
4pm Kettlebells
6pm Attend Boxing Bootcamp

Friday:

6am Teach Self Defense Bootcamp
5pm Train Client (5k Run)
6pm Teach Self Defense Bootcamp

Once per month go to the Santa Monica Boardwalk 5k/10k Run & Walk. Hotel paid for by MOVFitness. Go out and dance with group on Friday night & then help setup race Saturday morning from 6am-11am.
