ThoughtQuest LLC, a local company in Frederick, Maryland, is proud to announce a new program to help support the development of high technology jobs. ThoughtQuest looks to retain interns working in computer science, agricultural and food science and related fields to support the development of national databases that will be used to help protect the nation's food supply.

The program known as the Database Development Program for Critical Infrastructures, will bring the best and brightest students from local colleges together to identify and analyze food safety events. The work of these students will then be provided to scientists at the Midwest Research Institute (MRI) for scientific review and validation before they are placed in a national database at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) located in Chicago, Illinois.
