Marketing & Sales Internship at TigerTrade

TigerTrade, an exciting tech start-up based in New York City, is seeking a marketing associate. TigerTrade is a business-to-business website connecting firms in developing countries to international markets. Through TigerTrade, businesses can connect, explore global business opportunities, and execute business transactions. A social venture, TigerTrade facilitates business linkages that increase trade and catalyze broad-based economic growth in developing world markets.
TigerTrade has offices in New York and Indonesia, and we will be expanding throughout Southeast Asia. TigerTrade works in the apparel, textiles, footwear, furnishings, and home accessories industries.
Interns responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Cultivate leads from target industries and conduct sales outreach to potential TigerTrade members
Manage process of converting leads to sales, including business vetting and certification
Strategicallyutilize social media to market TigerTrade in line with overall corporate goals
Manage and update contacts of partners, US customers, and referrals in our tailored Sugar CRM database system
Follow-up with in-coming and out-bound sales calls
Develop industry and market briefing books and other tools and resources for sales team
Refine sales and marketing processes through analysis and feedback to management team.
Track and distill information from TigerTrades Google Analytics reports to help refine sales and registration process
Work on development of other aspects of the website as needed
Represent TigerTrade externally at networking events and trade shows
Assist with administrative tasks as assigned by the management team
