The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Apply CAE tool to support engine design activities (examples: valve spring, valvetrain, camshaft, chain system and crankshaft)
• Identify and calculate input forces for powertrain noise vibration phenomena
• Engine part and CAE software benchmarking
• Develop 1D and 3D model to predict powertrain booming noise and shift quality
• Generate CAD of other OEM's parts and evaluate the functions
• Conduct function tests to improve CAE accuracy
• Manage consultant projects and evaluate vendor's capability
• Document the calculation methods and know-how
