Description

Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Market Analysis Intern. This individual will be responsible for conducting sales and financial analysis of video games performance, providing analytical support to forecast demand for Ubisoft products, and completing ad-hoc research projects.  The position is based in San Francisco, CA and will report directly to the Manager, Market Analysis.


Responsibilities:

 

Market Analysis

Work on ad-hoc market-level projects on gaming industry trends such as pricing and console hardware base.

Weekly meetings/conferences required to coordinate and share information with sales managers and other internal teams.

Develop and maintain reports in Excel and Business Objects, including both regular weekly/monthly reports and ad-hoc reports.

Provide market intelligence as requested, working closely with sales analysts to ensure that any opportunities are pushed downstream to sales team.

Perform analysis on Ubisoft pre-orders.  Analyze how pre-orders track against comparable titles. 

 

Qualifications:

Business major preferred (junior or senior year).

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Knowledge of video game industry a plus.

Familiarity with Access and databases a plus.

Must have strong organizational, writing, and verbal skills.
