We are looking for an energetic, outgoing and people-person intern to harness the power of the social medial for a worthy cause. URF currently has presence on twitter, facebook, LinkedIn, and myspace, and a has a blog. Your main task to find creative ways to build our social networking community and engage members in various ways including fundraising. This internship can be undertaken from home or at school. You don't need to be located at a URF physical office.

Uganda Rural Fund is a vibrant grassroots organization dedicated to the empowerment of orphans, underprivileged youth and women to fight poverty in rural communities of Uganda, through the creation of educational and sustainable development opportunities. Our programs include: medical clinic, a high school, after school program, youth activities, women empowerment, village banking, child-headed family support, food security, etc.
