The Vice President of Operations will support the Power Division located in Lakewood, Colorado.

Essential responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Primary client interface and relationship manager
• Spends approximately 50% of time developing new business
• Develop long term strategy for power division business unit
• Manage business development representatives
• Executive sponsor for projects in power division business unit
• PL responsibility for projects
• Key client relationship management
• Develop marketing strategy
• Market Analysis
• Manage Senior Project Managers and Project Managers
• Maintain project teams as much as possible in resource allocation
• Maintain utilization rates
• Develop project manager performance plans
• Ensure maintenance of CRM
• Oversee safety process implementation

• Bachelors degree in engineering is required (BSEE or BSCE preferred)
• PE and PMP are a plus
• 10 to 15+ years experience working for a U.S. electric utility company or an EPC firm providing engineering and design services for substations up to 500KV and transmission and distribution systems for the electric power industry
• Strong knowledge of utility and industrial high voltage electrical power system modeling and design of 15KV to 500KV Substations
• Strong knowledge and experience performing all aspects associated with substation design and transmission and distribution systems
• Track record of successful delivery of electrical substation and transmission and distribution projects
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Demonstrated leadership and management ability
