JOB DESCRIPTION

UPS Freight, a leader in the LTL trucking industry, is currently seeking a Fleet Supervisor to be responsible for the effective use of resources in the maintenance and repair of equipment. Supervisors execute planned work and adapt to changing situations to ensure equipment is available to operations. This individual will report to the Maintenance Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This person will be responsible to:

• Enter work order information into MCMS


• Order parts and materials


• Oversee single shift of employees


• Address internal and external customer issues


• Perform preventive maintenance audits


• Evaluate equipment


• Prepare and implement safety procedures within Company, OSHA, and DOT guidelines


• Audit work to ensure quality standards are met


• Maintain productivity


• Train technicians
