DescriptionThe Williamsburg Art & Historical (WAH) Center is a non-profit art center located at the base of the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn, NYC. The WAH Center strives to fulfill founder Yuko Nii's "Bridge Concept" - to create an interdisciplinary platform for artists of all ages from local, national, and international backgrounds to connect through the universal language of artistic expression. The WAH Center is in search of an honest, reliable, creative, energetic, and responsible individual with a strong work ethic and a detail-oriented approach. We encourage college students with an interest in the arts to apply; an internship at the WAH Center will provide the chosen candidates with hands-on experience and an insight into the inner-workings of a non-profit art organization. Interns will work closely with founder & artistic director, Yuko Nii, planning and coordinating exhibitions and events that include fine art shows, theater performances, dance and music concerts.
