The Veterinary Technician Intern supports the veterinarian in a variety of ways. Interns learn basic medical and diagnostic skills, how to examine animals, and how to administer medication. They assist with surgeries and medical procedures, provide basic husbandry care for a diverse range of animal species, rescue and transport animals, and perform administrative duties.
