Since 1977, WPFW 89.3 FM has been providing Washington DC with commercial free world class music and programming. One of five Pacifica stations, we are dedicated to creating a pacific world in our time. We believe strongly in the full distribution of public information and in providing an outlet for the creative skills and energies of the community. Primarily listener supported, we have a small staff, and for the most part our shows are broadcast by volunteers.

The Executive Office Intern will work closely with WPFWs General Manager and gain a deep understanding of public radio, as well as the core competencies necessary to operate a public radio station.

This is an ideal internship for students who aspire to work in radio at the management level, and for those pursuing a career in either arts administration, or non-profit management.
