Wyle is seeking an III-V/III-N device process engineer to provide support in the following research areas: 1) fabricates experimental RF millimeter wave and terahertz transistors; documents work efforts; 2) researches semiconductor thin film processes required to meet geometry requirements for frequency, power and noise figure goals; 3) develops novel thin film deposition processes for gate dielectrics, channel passivation, gate materials, ohmic contacts and all other required metal and dielectric stacks to reduce parasitic transistor parameters which will reduce performance. 4) Specifies equipment and supplies to be purchased; 5) develops processes for SiC backside thinning via hole etching; 6) develops 3 dimensional integration processes; 7) provides support in general lithography utilizing optical contact and stepper lithography systems; 8); and, 9) contributes to reports/presentations of technical progress on in-house RF Components research for management reviews and to external customers.
Education: Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of related experience.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience with transistor processes and equipment to include but not limited to: electron beam, stepper and contact photolithography; electron beam evaporator; plasma etch/deposition systems; atomic layer deposition systems.
