Description
Apply knowledge of and expertise in DoD, AF and common engineering and scientific principles, criteria, and procedures to improve planned and existing AF and joint service weapon system manufacture, operations, re-manufacture and de-militarization operations and oversight. Specifically for the F-15 program office supporting a specific Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer. Support FMS Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) process. Assist government in producing or reviewing products that include the following: technical evaluations, engineering studies, reports, and analysis, acquisition strategies and plans, test plans and procedures, Integrated test Plan and inputs for acquisition strategies and planning. analyze equipment and software deficiencies, make recommendations for equipment and software deficiency corrections, and develop, integrate, and test equipment and software deficiency solutions. Also assist the government in the engineering evaluation of contractor recommendations for operational and support issues such as: evaluations of ACSNs, ECPs, CCPs, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Bulletins, modification proposals, DMS, program Risk, and related documents. This also includes participation at technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, and other meetings as required. Familiar with Air Force Security Assistance Center on-line and Enterprise data Collaborative System (EDSC). Understand warranty, Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) and Quality Deficiency Report (QDR) processes.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years experience in a professional engineering (preferred to be from an American Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)-accredited educational program) discipline is required.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Minimum of 10 years engineering experience in an aerospace engineering discipline of which 5 years shall be in a specialty area of the discipline. Recent experience at Wright-Patterson AFB in system program offices is desired.
