Description
Serve as UAS/ISR subject matter expert (SME) for HQ ACC/A8Y. Provide technical, operational and programmatic support to the functional managers, requirements officers, and Program Element Monitors (PEMs) for UAS, High-Altitude ISR platforms and other reconnaissance and intelligence systems as required by ACC/A8Y. Support is required in the areas of planning, logistics, operations, airspace, sensors, budget planning and programming, requirements development and analysis, technical and operational assessments, and development, program reviews in support of operations, communications, research, development and acquisition, and sustainment activities. Interface and perform regular and frequent technical and programmatic liaison functions as required with the Air Staff , the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Joint Staff, the National Reconnaissance Office, National Security Agency, other Services, Unified Commands, other Major Commands, numbered Air Forces, appropriate Wings and sub-organizations, Program Offices, and other organizations conducting or interfacing with program or system requirements, operations, planning, RDTE, and system sustainment. The contractor shall support appropriate planning and development forums, technical interchange meetings, and Integrated Process/Product Teams (IPTs) to further understand and develop background information as a basis for technical, training, and operational analyses in support of the above organizations.

Education:
Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Three (3) years experience required, or seven (7) years experience in lieu of a degree. Two (2) of the required years of experience should be staff officer experience at the MAJCOM or higher level. Current or previous UAS/RPA operator experience required.
